Spacehack: The Refugee Journey is a hackathon seeking to find solutions to space problems refugees face along their journey from flight to integration. 

The 2016 event, in partnership with Facebook, The European Commission, Factory, ReDI School and Techfugees, flew in developers, architects, designers, makers, and other innovators for 48 -hours. Hosted in the infamous ‘Holzmarkt’ (while under construction) the event brought together more than 200 individuals from Italy, Spain, Ireland, Germany, with more than 24 projects completed.
