Factory Lisbon, in collaboration with Startup Portugal, hosted an unconference at the Web Summit, marking a transformative moment for the iconic building. For the first time, the former Manutenção Militar Complex shed its military legacy, evolving into a vibrant hub for digital art and pioneering ideas. Over three days, Bea.to brought together tech visionaries, entrepreneurs, digital culture advocates, and artists, creating a dynamic space where bold concepts and forward-thinking discussions explored the innovations shaping tomorrow’s world.

The lineup featured changemakers like Steff Plaetz, Nicky Jackie Delphi, Leyla Acaroglu, and Diane Giraud alongside collectives like Germes Gang and KWY. Artists, designers, and activists mingled with stalls from Stolen Books, Collectionair, Lisbon Beer District, and Pop Closet. Bea.to was a fusion of old and new, transforming Lisbon’s industrial past into a vision of tomorrow.
