Factory's mission is to bring autonomy to software engineering. Our platform turns the world's largest engineering organizations into autonomous software factories: signals in, software out, with every cycle leaving the system smarter.
The most advanced work on self-improving software isn't happening in AI labs. It's happening inside companies whose systems can't afford to fail: Blackstone, Nvidia, T-Mobile, and RBC. At these companies, software moves markets, ships chips, keeps millions of people connected, and processes payments around the clock.
But a platform alone isn't transformation. Our edge is turning engineering autonomy into enterprise outcomes through exceptional people and an exceptional product. Pushing that frontier forward, and feeding what we learn back to product and sales, is the goal of our Deployment team.
A Member of Deployed Staff goes where agents meet the hardest problems in real software organizations: sprawling monorepos, legacy code, strict security and compliance boundaries, and CI/CD pipelines that cannot break. Making autonomous agents work there is an open engineering problem, and we solve it with customers in their sovereign infrastructure.
Deployment is where the real questions get answered. How does an agent reason across a codebase too large for any one engineer to hold in their head? How does it earn more autonomy without putting production at risk? How do you prove it's actually getting better? The patterns we uncover while answering these questions, not the specifics of any one engagement, are what push Factory forward. They're why we built code review and security review that run on every PR, internal knowledge agents, and self-hosted cloud agents on the Droid SDK. Each started as a frontier problem in the field and became a product every customer can use.
The bar for every engagement is the same. Can we turn what we learned into a repeatable, generalizable capability that makes the platform smarter for every customer? When the answer is yes, we deploy.
Deployment is Factory's special operations unit: high-autonomy, high-agency operators deployed to our most strategic accounts and highest-leverage product opportunities. This team brings together some of the industry's most agent-pilled engineering leaders, many of whom will go on to found companies of their own. The people who thrive here do more than implement technology. They move organizations forward, help teams embrace agents and automation, and turn even the most skeptical stakeholders into their strongest advocates.
Member of Deployed Staff, Applied AI is the technical leader who combines product management, AI strategy, and success measurement. They own deployments at our most strategic accounts and are accountable for how much autonomy those customers actually reach. One day, they're enabling autonomous code reviews at scale. The next, they're assessing the customer's agent readiness and measuring how well their agents perform.
Member of Deployed Staff, Forward Deployed Engineer does deep engineering inside the customer's environment. They lead our hardest implementations: custom SDK deployments and automations, large refactors and migrations, integrating a customer's agent harness with Factory, on-premise deployments and new product prototypes.
Deployment touches every team at Factory. Members of Deployed Staff work alongside the Account Executive and Solutions Engineer who own the customer relationship, and stay close to our latest engineering and product work. The Deployment team is where Factory's core thesis gets proven: autonomy at scale.

We're searching for ambitious polymaths who want to drive agents forward at the world's biggest organizations. Whether you come from a customer-facing engineering background or have been an engineer in finance, semiconductors, insurance, healthcare, or federal, your experience is an advantage here.
Deployment is where the product meets the real world, and where much of Factory's future gets decided first. Come build it with us.
