Our space recently transformed into an artistic wonderland for Marianne’s breathtaking album release, presented with Lisbon’s avant-garde label AUFSTAND! Marianne’s debut, Tirésias—inspired by the gender-fluid Greek oracle—dropped online the following day, celebrating the global queer community with electrifying soundscapes and soul-baring vocals that explore the nuanced dance of self-discovery and gender identity.

The live performance was mesmerizing, with Marianne’s vocals soaring through the room, accompanied by a spellbinding glass wall and costume design by the visionary Marcus Hass Horn. Each note was enhanced by ethereal installations from AUFSTAND! artists Marco Maiato, Carolina Ardente, Nico Tyna, and Ndr0n, who crafted immersive visual art pieces that interwove seamlessly with Marianne’s music, pulling the audience into a multisensory dreamscape.

The evening opened with an artful vernissage, complete with striking merchandise by the enigmatic CVNT3000 and electric DJ sets from Swiss collective StranaCorpus and Oseias, setting an otherworldly tone for the night. Marianne—steeped in music since childhood, a stylist and art director in Lisbon, and a sonic visionary since 2020—crafted an experience that defied boundaries, fusing visual art with genre-bending jams that explored loneliness, connection, and the raw beauty of the human spirit.
