Factory

About Factory

Our mission is to create a world where software builds and improves itself.

We build the platform for self-improving software development, helping the world's largest enterprise engineering teams turn their organizations into autonomous software factories. Customers including Nvidia, Blackstone, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), Palo Alto Networks, Adobe, and T-Mobile run Factory to ship code, review PRs, run tests, and deploy continuously — getting smarter with every cycle.

In 2026, we raised $200M at a $5B valuation, bringing our total funding to over $400M. We are backed by world-class investors and operators including Khosla Ventures, Sequoia, Blackstone, Ali Ghodsi (CEO of Databricks), and Frank Slootman (Former CEO of Snowflake).

About the Role

Factory is bringing autonomy to software engineering. We’re looking for a Product Marketer to define how Droids are understood, evaluated, and adopted by modern engineering organizations. You’ll shape the narratives, positioning, and market stories that drive enterprise demand and arm our sales team with the clarity they need to win.

This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and sales. You’ll translate technical capabilities into business outcomes, build the assets that accelerate deals, and shape how customers understand agent native development.

What You Will Do and Achieve

  • Define our market position. Own company and product positioning, messaging, and category strategy across the engineering lifecycle.

  • Build the product marketing function. Establish the team, operating model, priorities, and measurement framework needed to support Factory’s growth.

  • Lead go-to-market strategy. Partner with Product, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Marketing, and BizOps to develop launch plans, audience strategies, and adoption programs.

  • Turn customer insight into strategy. Build a deep understanding of buyers, users, competitors, and market dynamics. Use those insights to influence product and go-to-market decisions.

  • Enable enterprise growth. Equip revenue teams with narratives, pitch decks, competitive intelligence, solution briefs, use cases, and proof points that move complex deals forward.

  • Tell stories that create demand. Translate sophisticated technical workflows into clear, outcome-driven narratives for engineering leaders, executives, and developers.

  • Lead product launches. Set the strategy and standards for launches, ensuring teams are aligned, sales is prepared, and customers understand the value of new capabilities.

  • Shape executive and market narratives. Partner with leadership on keynotes, customer conversations, analyst engagement, and other opportunities to establish Factory as a category leader.

  • Measure and improve impact. Define success metrics and use market feedback, customer research, product adoption, and revenue data to refine messaging and programs.

  • Champion the Factory voice. Ensure every customer-facing narrative reflects the clarity, ambition, and technical credibility behind our mission to bring autonomy to software engineering.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product marketing or related go-to-market experience, including leadership experience at a high-growth SaaS, AI, infrastructure, or developer-focused company.

  • A track record of building and leading high-performing product marketing teams.

  • Experience defining positioning and go-to-market strategy for technical products sold to enterprise customers.

  • Deep understanding of complex enterprise sales cycles and how to enable account executives and solutions engineers throughout the buyer journey.

  • Exceptional writing, communication, and storytelling skills, with the ability to make sophisticated technical concepts compelling to business and technical audiences.

  • Experience leading major product launches and coordinating cross-functional teams around a shared strategy.

  • Strong customer and market instincts, supported by a rigorous, data-informed approach to research and decision-making.

  • The ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels in a fast-moving environment.

  • Strong executive presence and the ability to influence Product, Sales, Marketing, and company leadership.

  • A passion for developers, AI, autonomy, and shaping how a new category is understood and adopted.
